Vinci Construction's teams are managing around twenty tunneling projects using tunnel boring machines. Each site generates a large amount of data stored in different places and in different formats: the data is difficult to use. The study involves extracting, standardising and formatting the data, so as to make it exploitable in order to improve analyses. In particular, this requires a good understanding of how tunnel boring machines work.

The application replaces the Excel spreadsheets used previously and enables a better response to new international standards. It is also capable of withstanding regular power cuts, and adapts to an unstable Internet network.
